Cocalico Tables was founded by Wayne Leid, a skilled craftsman with a love for woodworking. Born and raised in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, Wayne grew up in a “horse-and-buggy” Mennonite family, spending his early years in his father’s furniture shop. It was there that he learned the value of hard work and the skills needed to create quality furniture.

 

Today, Cocalico Tables operates as a home-based business on a small farm. Our workshop is in a repurposed chicken barn, located right next to the home where Wayne, his wife, and their five children live.

 

Wayne takes pride in creating tables that meet the unique needs of each customer. From the first conversation to the finished piece, his goal is simple: to make furniture that you’ll love and that will last for years to come.
